
Hotel Nikko Narita Renovates 66 Rooms on the Main Building’s 7th Floor, Introduces Three Styles of Rooms
Fuji Speedway Hotel is offering ‘Spring Afternoon Tea: Saryo’ featuring Japanese sweets and savory items until June 5.
The fusion of Japanese and Western ‘Neo Wagashi’ sweets includes five varieties: ‘Monaka’ with Mount Fuji adzuki bean paste and Shizuoka matcha cream, ‘Western-style Matcha Kashiwa Mochi’ with matcha-flavored custard cream inside warabi mochi, ‘Kanten Jelly’ dessert with strawberry and cherry jelly, ‘Mizuyokan’ made with honey-drenched kumquats and Shizuoka hojicha, and the hotel’s special chilled ‘Shiratama Zenzai’.
The savory dishes feature ‘Baumkuchen Pinchos’ using free-range egg brand ‘Fuku Ga Kita’, bite-sized ‘Temari Sushi’ using Atlantic salmon from local Oyama and pickled turnip, ‘Chilled Chawanmushi’ with shrimp ankake, ‘Special Tsukune of Mt. Fuji Gotendo Chicken and Quail Egg Skewer’, and ‘Grilled Rice Ball with Atlantic Salmon and Brown Rice from Oyama’ served with salt kelp and bonito flakes, along with ‘Ochazuke’ which can be filled with your choice from six types of tea. Drinks are unlimited and include six varieties of select Shizuoka teas such as deep-roasted Kakegawa sencha, Kawane black tea, and Motoyama charcoal roasted oolong tea. From mid-April, new tea varieties will be added, allowing you to enjoy new teas from Enshu Mori and Makinohara as the seasons change.
Additionally, within the facility, spring-limited menus include robatayaki featuring domestically first large-scale land-farmed ‘FUJI ATLANTIC SALMON’, Italian dinner courses, and a special cocktail ‘Plum Chaplin’ made with plum liqueur.
