Hyatt Regency Tokyo Opens ‘Nineteen Eighty Lounge & Bar’ on April 24
The New Furano Prince Hotel will hold a ‘Hokkaido Asparagus Fair’ with a local produce theme, running from May 1 to June 15, featuring a dinner buffet and special offerings at each restaurant.
The event aims to promote local production and consumption with ingredients from within Hokkaido and the Furano area, in collaboration with regional producers in agriculture, dairy, and fisheries. Hokkaido’s early summer specialty, asparagus, will be featured in a variety of dishes created by chefs specializing in Western, Japanese, Chinese, and pastry cuisines, with a dynamic live kitchen also in place. In Western cuisine, they will offer ‘Grilled Hokkaido Green Asparagus with Butter’ cooked right in front of diners, as well as dishes featuring local ‘Kamifurano Pork’ and Hokkaido asparagus, while Soh‘s BAR will serve sautéed asparagus and salads made with local produce.
The dinner buffet will be available in the main banquet hall on the basement level from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Prices are 7,000 yen for adults, 4,900 yen for elementary school students, and free for preschool children, tax included. Additionally, Western courses in the main dining room and Japanese kaiseki cuisine at ‘Karamatsu’ are available.
