The hotel chain opened the North Wing of the “HOTEL Star Terrace Sekigane” on April 26.
The “National Lodge Sekiganesou,” which opened in 1968, was transferred by Kurayoshi City to an outside company and opened under the name “Green Skole Sekigane,” only to be closed in March 2020. As part of the “Sekigane Revitalization Project,” a consortium represented by the company was selected by the city.
There are 13 rooms in total. The room types include dog-friendly rooms with private and shared dog runs and special rooms accommodating up to six guests. All rooms and public areas feature universal design, allowing bath assistance with dedicated wheelchairs and a bath lift using the hot spring source of the Kanshinkan Onsen. The facilities also include private bathhouses and a sauna with a loyly (löyly) option. Pet accommodations extend to large dogs, and amenities for pets are provided.
Additionally, part of the South Wing will be renovated and opened from July onwards. At the same time, paid services such as transportation by care taxi and bathing assistance services will start.
