Hyatt Regency Tokyo Opens ‘Nineteen Eighty Lounge & Bar’ on April 24
Old Rookie has opened the first branch of its new brand ‘Old Rookie Sauna Hotel’ named ‘Old Rookie Sauna Hotel Kisarazu Kaneda’ on April 24.
The concept is “Sauna First Stay.” During the stay, guests can enjoy the sauna as much as possible without leaving their rooms. The rooms are designed with attention to every detail, including meals and drinks, for a sauna-centric experience.
There are 10 rooms available in three styles: Japanese modern, Nordic outdoor, and old Hawaiian. These include one special room, two suites, one quad suite, and six junior suites. One of the rooms allows guests to stay with their pet dog.
The sauna room, which can reach up to 110 degrees Celsius, and the cold bath are always on standby, ready to be enjoyed immediately after check-in. Guests can adjust the temperature from high to low, and enjoy audio content through a Bluetooth connection. Around 20 types of aroma water are provided in the room, allowing guests to choose scents for use with the sauna stove’s löyly or on the sauna room walls. The cold bath is equipped with a chiller, making settings below 10 degrees possible. It can also be filled with hot water for use as a bathtub. Many recommended drinks for after-sauna enjoyment are prepared in the room’s refrigerator.
Meals after the sauna, a children’s menu, and delivery services are provided, along with breakfast service available with all reservations. The facility is equipped with a parking lot for 20 vehicles, a shop, and an amenity bar.
