Finnair Cancels Approximately 100 Flights on May 5 Due to Strike
Etihad Airways and China Eastern Airlines have launched a joint venture. They announced their intention to begin in June 2024.
This follows the opening of the Shanghai/Pudong to Abu Dhabi route by China Eastern Airlines on April 28. Initially, it will operate four round trips per week, increasing to one round trip per day from September 12.
Both airlines aim to offer a wide range of options and a seamless travel experience for travelers from major Chinese cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Xi’an, and Kunming to the Middle East and Africa via Abu Dhabi. They plan to deepen their collaboration through joint marketing activities and enhancements to customer experiences.
At the Arabian Travel Market (ATM2025), the two airlines signed a new agreement concerning their loyalty programs. From June 1, members will be able to earn and use miles reciprocally.
