JW Marriott is set to open the ‘JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll Island Resort’ in the Maldives.
The resort features a total of 80 private pool villas, including 47 overwater pool villas, designed to resemble traditional Maldivian ‘Gedu’ huts. The villas are equipped with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, outdoor showers, private pools, and terraces, offering ocean views and access to the atoll.
The facility includes seven dining areas and bars offering global cuisines such as Japanese, Indian, and South American, along with handcrafted cocktails. It also offers overwater spa “Spa by JW” with treatments using BABOR precision skincare products, a children’s swimming pool, fitness center, lap pool, and marine activities like yoga against the sunrise backdrop, snorkeling, and diving. Guests can also enjoy dolphin safaris, parasailing, and sunset cruises.
Access is a 15-minute boat ride from Velana International Airport.
