Indian Military Attack on Pakistan Leads to Flight Cancellations
Capital A (formerly AirAsia Group) will expand its aviation and logistics business in Saudi Arabia.
AirAsia is launching new routes to Riyadh and Dammam and adding flights to the Kuala Lumpur–Jeddah route. To enhance connectivity between ASEAN and the Middle East, it also plans to launch the Bangkok/Jakarta–Riyadh route.
This is considered an important step in the group’s Middle East growth strategy, with its logistics arm Teleport, aircraft maintenance and engineering company Asia Digital Engineering, and travel platform AirAsia MOVE also expanding into Saudi Arabia.
Exploring collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s logistics hubs and free trade zones, they aim to achieve fast and cost-effective cargo transport. In addition, they will establish maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facilities at major Saudi Arabian airports, contributing to the development of talent in the field of aviation engineering.
