Sanctuary Court Takayama Art Gallery Resort Opens on March 25 as the First Facility of the New Brand
The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka will offer a “Blooming Afternoon Tea” in collaboration with Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design from May 1 to June 30.
Nicolai Bergmann, a flower artist deeply connected with Fukuoka, serving as the city’s ambassador and hosting exhibitions in Dazaifu, has designed this afternoon tea to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his signature original flower box and the hotel’s 2nd anniversary. The afternoon tea envisions a garden in full bloom.
Sweets include shortcake made with Kumamoto-grown muskmelon and brown sugar genoise, verrine with Kumamoto-grown edible roses and lychee, and savories inspired by traditional Danish cuisine, such as smørrebrød with Kumamoto Aso natural pork ham and ricotta cheese, and tartlets with marinated Miraï salmon from Fukuoka with Kyushu sour cream. These items, crafted with Kyushu ingredients, are artistically presented to express Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design through the pastry chef’s skills. The original flower box design features the Ritz-Carlton’s brand color, Memorable Blue.
The location is on the 18th floor at Cafe Diva. Hours are from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The price is 8,800 yen, with an option including a Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka original preserved flower box for 12,800 yen. A 500 yen discount is available when reserved online and visiting on weekdays. Includes tax and service charge. Limited quantities, available while supplies last.
