
“Espacio Nagoya Castle” Opening on October 1st: Former Nagoya Castle Hotel Reimagined
Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba will offer a “Chocolate Afternoon Tea Set” from May 1 to June 30.
Each chocolate dessert uses cocoa with different intensities. On the top tier, you’ll find a “Chocolate Mousse” combining bitter black chocolate with 52% cocoa, roasted praline, and sweet, rich caramel. The middle tier features “Chocolate Sandwich” with 56% cocoa dark chocolate, “Chocolate Tart” combining karak and mascarpone, and “Chocolate Petit Choux” topped with tangy raspberry cream and rich pistachio ganache.
The bottom tier includes savories bringing out the sweetness and bitterness of chocolate, such as the “Velouté” with banana and chocolate soup, “Low-temperature Cooked Duck and Mushroom Marinade” with dark chocolate sauce, and open sandwiches with chocolate mustard butter. Drinks include Ronnefeldt teas, herbal teas, and coffee.
The location is on the 2nd floor at “The Lobby Cafe.” Service hours are from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, operating on a 2-hour system. The price is 7,000 yen, including tax and service charges.
