Sichuan Airlines will launch the Chengdu to Athens route on June 30.
The airline will operate four weekly rotations on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. An Airbus A330 aircraft will be used. The flight time is 13 hours and 25 minutes from Chengdu, and 12 hours and 20 minutes from Athens. The route includes a stopover in Istanbul.
Smooth connections can be made with the Tokyo/Narita and Osaka/Kansai to Chengdu routes in both directions.
