
Mitsubishi Estate Hotels & Resorts to Open “The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Naha” in January 2026
Hotel Nikko Alivila will offer the “Alivila Birdcage Afternoon Tea” themed around the summer-exclusive event period “el sol” (meaning the sun in Spanish), from June 1 to August 31.
The “Alivila Birdcage Afternoon Tea,” which changes themes each season, is served using an approximately 140 cm original tea stand inspired by the decor and interiors of the Ariacara venue, which resembles a birdcage. This season’s theme is “el sol,” an event period symbolizing Hotel Nikko Alivila in midsummer, expressed through sweets and savories reflecting the dazzling Okinawan sunlight, seaside sunsets, and vibrant nature.
The 1st plate features savories such as “Curungi Open Sandwich Sunset Style” and “Smoked Trout Salmon and Cream Cheese Dome with Cucumber Sandwich,” themed around the evening twilight and the blessings of the sun in midsummer. The 2nd plate includes treats like “Mango Pudding,” “Passion Chocolate Truffle,” and “Acerola Macaron,” which highlight the unique sweetness and fragrance of tropical fruits grown under strong sunlight. The 3rd plate offers summery-themed sweets like “Blue Sky Jelly” and “Straw Hat Cookie Sandwich.” Drinks include Churahana Tea Okinawa Tea among more than 20 selections.
The venue is Lounge “Ariacara.” Service is available for 2 hours from noon to 4 PM. The fee is 6,000 yen, with an option of 2 hours of soft drinks and sparkling wine free-flow for 2,800 yen per person, including tax and service charges. Reservations are required for 2 or more people.
