
AirAsia Launches Fukuoka–Taipei/Taoyuan–Kota Kinabalu Route with Fares Starting at 12,900 Yen
Biman Bangladesh Airlines has decided to suspend its Tokyo/Narita to Dhaka route starting July 1. The suspension period is currently undetermined.
Although previously operated as a transit flight, this route had been suspended since 2006. Operations resumed on September 1, 2023, initially with three round trips per week.
Currently, they operate up to two round trips weekly using a Boeing 787-8 aircraft. The flight duration is 7 hours from Tokyo/Narita and 6 hours 50 minutes from Dhaka. It remains the only direct flight connecting Japan and Bangladesh.
