Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
Ensen Marugoto has announced the grand opening of “Satologue” on May 25.
The facility had initially opened its restaurant and sauna in May 2024, and with the newly completed accommodation building, hotel functions have been added. The aim is to promote stay-type tourism and to enhance regional revitalization and sustainable development.
There are four twin rooms, designed by Yasushi Horibe, who has also worked on projects such as the guntû sailing the Seto Inland Sea. The rooms feature a soft cocoon-like white vaulted ceiling. Each room comes with a bathroom where guests can enjoy a leisurely bath while overlooking the greenery on the opposite bank.
During their stay, guests can enjoy dinners that blend local culinary culture with French elements, using fresh vegetables from the property’s own farm and ingredients provided by regional producers. Balanced Japanese and Western breakfasts, a log sauna converted from a warehouse, and a bath sourced from river water are also available.
Access is a 15-minute walk from JR Ome Line Kori Station, or a 20-minute walk from Hatonosu Station.
