THE LIVELY Fukuoka Hakata will offer a summer limited menu from June 1 to August 31.
The “Shaved Ice” takes a decoration cake style and expresses a new sweets experience. The menu offers two types: “RED,” which features colorful sweets and fruits such as chocolate lips, swirl candies, pink donuts, high heel chocolate, strawberries, and red cherries on shaved ice with berry condensed milk sauce; and “BLACK,” which is topped with black and brown sweets and fruits such as black ribbon chocolate, chocolate donuts, chocolate bars, black corn, and blackberries on shaved ice with black sesame condensed milk sauce. Each is priced at 1,100 yen.
For cocktails, three types of mojitos give a sense of an exotic summer resort. The menu includes “Sea Lychee,” reminiscent of the Asian seas, based on gin with lychee, dill, and salt; “Pineapple Pseudo,” which conveys the powerful cheerfulness of the West with white wine base, combining pineapple and cheese; and “Tropical Watermelon,” filled with the passion of South America, based on rum with watermelon and basil. Each is priced at 1,000 yen. Three types of cream sodas featuring strawberries, pineapples, and kiwis are also available. The homemade craft soda is finished by blending cinnamon, herbs, lemon, and ginger powder. Each is priced at 800 yen.
