Solare Hotels and Resorts will open a hotel in the heart of Yokohama Chinatown in November.
The building has 6 floors above ground and 1 basement. It features 34 guest rooms with an average area of 40 square meters and an average capacity of about 5 people. The facility offers a sauna, rooms with Chinese-style design elements, and unique breakfasts characteristic of Yokohama Chinatown.
The hotel is converting a building that formerly housed the Chinese restaurant Shofukumon in Yokohama Chinatown. In April this year, Taisei Corporation acquired the trust beneficiary rights through a special purpose company, and Profits has been handling the conversion into the hotel.
It is a 2-minute walk from Tokyu Motomachi-Chukagai Station.
