Etihad Airways Increases Abu Dhabi-Karachi Flights to 4 Daily from October 1
Japan Airlines (JAL) has decided to cancel its Tokyo/Haneda-Doha route flights until the departure on July 1 (next day from local departure).
Although airspace restrictions around Qatar have been lifted as of now, considering the current situation in the Middle East, flights will be canceled until it is confirmed that flight safety is sufficiently ensured. The route operates one round trip per day, and it had already announced cancellations up to June 27 (local departure). The number of affected passengers is 2,927.
Due to the temporary closure of Qatari airspace around 1:00 AM Japan time on June 24, the Tokyo/Haneda-Doha flight departing on June 23 returned and was canceled.
Regarding future operations, JAL stated, “We will continue to prioritize the safety of our customers and employees and will consider our operational policy based on the latest information from international organizations and relevant authorities. We will inform you of the latest operational status on our website as needed.”
