
Cathay Pacific Airways’ Japan Reservations Drop 30% in July Amid Rumors of ‘Major Disaster’
Japan Airlines (JAL) will sell the “Single Malt Yuza Japan Airlines Exclusive 2025,” produced by Yuza Distillery, on its international flights from July 1 to August 31.
The aim is to offer “Japanese Craft Whisky” produced by small distilleries scattered across Japan, encouraging customers to visit different regions. For the ninth edition, a whisky made by Kinryu from Yuza Distillery in Yuza Town, Yamagata Prefecture, will be sold.
“Single Malt Yuza Japan Airlines Exclusive 2025” is a single malt whisky made from a rigorously selected bourbon cask malt, aged over four years, and finished for about six months in high-quality sherry casks. It boasts a rich aroma reminiscent of raisins and chocolate, with a smooth and mellow flavor and a fruity finish.
The “Single Malt Yuza Japan Airlines Exclusive 2025 700ml” will be available exclusively to First and Business Class passengers. Reservations are required through the JAL international flight inflight sales “Pre-order Service.” Limited to one bottle per person per flight. The “Single Malt Yuza Japan Airlines Exclusive 2025 180ml” is available for purchase across all classes, including Economy Class. The prices are 21,000 yen for the 700ml and 5,600 yen for the 180ml, both including tax.
