
The Capitol Hotel Tokyu Offers Summer-Only ‘Kakigori’ Featuring Five Varieties Including Saijo Persimmon from Shimane
Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu will offer the limited summer “Peach Afternoon Tea” from July 1 to August 31.
Beginning with the welcome sweets & drinks “Peach Melba (mini size)” and “Peach Lassi,” it features 15 types of sweets served on a three-tiered stand (5 types on each tier) per person, as well as side scones (peach tea & plain), jams (peach jam, maple syrup, clotted cream).
This year’s new menu includes classic options like “Peach Shortcake” and “Peach Tart,” along with a fusion lineup such as the herb-scented “Peach and Verbena Verrine” and “Peach Yokan.” Savories include refreshing items like “Focaccia with Peach and Prosciutto” and “Cold Tomato Soup (Gazpacho-style).”
The venue is the 2nd-floor lounge “Sommerhaus.” The first session starts at noon, and the second at 2:30 PM, each lasting two hours. Prices start from 6,800 yen, with an option including unlimited sparkling wine. Tax and service charges included. Limited availability; reservations required at least three days in advance.
