APA Hotel, operated by franchisee SWAN, will expand APA Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan with a new building, set to open in September 2026.
The design of the new building will be handled by APA Group, featuring the latest specifications of the APA Hotel concept as a ‘new urban-style hotel’. The building will have 9 floors and offer a total of 74 rooms, including 12 rooms in 6 sets of ‘S-S Connect Twin Rooms’ that connect adjacent rooms for up to 4 guests. All rooms will be non-smoking and equipped with large LCD TVs of 50 inches or larger, universal sockets, and environmentally friendly room amenities. This expansion will bring the total to 280 rooms across three buildings.
Access is convenient with a 5-minute drive from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Station and a 3-minute walk from the Tenmonkan tram stop.
