Aeon Card will change the benefits of the Aeon Gold Card starting from September 1.
For airport lounge services, where there are currently no usage restrictions, a limitation of up to two times per year will be implemented starting on the same day. For 2025, usage is calculated from September 1 to December 31, and from 2026 onwards, from January 1 to December 31.
From the same date onwards, the compensation limits for travel accident insurance will be reduced. Overseas “Death or Residual Disability due to Injury” will be 30 million yen (currently 50 million yen), “Medical Expenses due to Injury or Disease” will be 2 million yen per accident/disease (currently 3 million yen), and “Personal Belongings Damage” will be 200,000 yen per year (currently 300,000 yen). Domestically, “Death or Residual Disability due to Injury” will be 20 million yen (currently 30 million yen), “Daily Insurance Payment for Hospitalization due to Injury” will be 3,000 yen (currently 5,000 yen), and “Daily Insurance Payment for Outpatient Visit due to Injury” will be 2,000 yen (currently 3,000 yen).
