
JAL Cancels and Delays Flights Through Late January 2026 After A350-1000 Damaged at New York JFK
Airbus announced that Lars Wagner will assume the position of CEO of the Commercial Aircraft Division effective January 1, 2026.
Wagner is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MTU Aero Engines, a manufacturer of aircraft engines based in Munich, Germany, since January 2023. Previously, he held multiple management positions at various Airbus locations, including Bremen, Hamburg, and Toulouse. He holds degrees in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, and an MBA.
Succeeding outgoing Christian Scherer, Wagner will join Airbus in early November to ensure a smooth transition of operations.
