AirAsia X Launches Flight to Nairobi, Marking Its First Foray into Africa
Batik Air Malaysia Plans to Launch Nagoya/Chubu to Kaohsiung to Kuala Lumpur Route
The Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) has announced its decision to grant air traffic rights to Batik Air Malaysia for the operation of the Nagoya/Chubu to Kaohsiung to Kuala Lumpur route.
According to the announcement, the airline plans to operate three round trips per week starting April 2024.
MAVCOM makes its decisions on the allocation of air traffic rights after considering demand and passenger benefits, quality of service, and the impact on Malaysian airports and the aviation industry. Airlines granted rights must adhere to the conditions, and MAVCOM retains the authority to temporarily suspend or revoke the decision if an airline fails to comply. The designated airlines must begin operating all allocated flights within six months of the start date of the validity period, and unused rights will be revoked.
