Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lowers or Lifts Danger Levels in Middle Eastern Countries
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has raised the danger level in certain areas following military clashes between the forces of Thailand and Cambodia near their border.
The entire Udom Meanchey Province and Choam Khsant District in Preah Vihear Province in Cambodia, and areas within 40 kilometers of the Cambodian border in Thailand’s Sa Kaeo, Surin, Buriram, and Ubon Ratchathani Provinces have been upgraded to Level 3 (Travel Suspension Recommendation).
Due to the possibility of unforeseen incidents, travelers are advised to refrain from visiting these areas.
