Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia Strengthen Partnership
All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Viasat have started offering high-speed in-flight Wi-Fi service for free on international flights.
Passengers can enjoy streaming video from boarding until disembarkation. In cases where regulations by the destination authorities apply, usage is available from about 5 minutes after takeoff until about 5 minutes before landing.
The service has been introduced on the Boeing 767-300ER aircraft (registration number: JA625A), with placards displayed on the cabin walls of the applicable aircraft. The service is free across all classes.
Three Boeing 767-300ER aircraft will be retrofitted by the end of this fiscal year. By fiscal year 2026, six Boeing 767-300ER aircraft will provide this service, and from fiscal year 2026 onwards, 18 Boeing 777-9 and 19 Boeing 787-9 aircraft will also introduce the service. By the end of 2030, over 80% of the fleet will offer this service.
