ANA Ends Operation of Special ‘Star Wars’ Painted Aircraft ‘R2-D2’ and ‘C-3PO’
Cathay Pacific Airways has placed an additional order for 14 Boeing 777-9 aircraft.
With this, the total number of orders has expanded to 35, making it the airline that operates the most aircraft of this type in the Asia-Pacific region. The airline plans to expand and renew its fleet, enhancing passenger and cargo transport capacity on long-haul and ultra-long-haul routes.
The Boeing 777-9 aircraft has a range of approximately 7,295 nautical miles (about 13,510 kilometers), reducing fuel consumption by about 20% and noise by about 40%, thereby lowering operational costs and noise.
