Uber and JAL Launch Collaborative Campaign with Miles and Ride Discounts
Uber Japan and Japan Airlines (JAL) are launching the “Double Benefits” collaborative campaign from August 8 to September 30.
In Japan, the first 10,000 new users of the ride-hailing service who enter the promotion code “JAUBAUG25” will receive 500 miles. For the first ride, users can get a discount of up to 2,500 yen, and they will earn miles equivalent to 10% of the total ride amount.
For those who have already used Uber, in the United States, Taiwan, and South Korea, entering the promotional code and paying the fare with JAL Pay will result in discounts of up to 20 USD, 600 TWD, and 28,000 KRW, respectively. Additionally, depending on the number of rides, users will receive 300 miles for three rides and 1,000 miles for six or more rides. Each ride must be 1,500 yen or more. The promotion codes are “JALPSU25” for the United States, “JALPST25” for Taiwan, and “JALPSK25” for South Korea.
This initiative is part of the strategic partnership announced in March 2021.
