Emirates Airlines to Increase Dubai-Barcelona Flights to Three Round Trips Per Day from October 26
All Nippon Airways (ANA) will halve the number of flights on the Tokyo/Haneda-Komatsu route.
Starting October 26, the current four daily round trips will be reduced to two. Currently, the flights are operated using an Airbus A321neo or Boeing 737-800.
ANA had already reduced the number of flights on this route from six to four daily round trips from the summer schedule of 2016, due to the impact of the Hokuriku Shinkansen opening.
ANA explains that domestic business demand has not recovered to pre-pandemic levels, costs are increasing, and it is challenging to generate profit. “To improve profitability, we will comprehensively assess demand trends, and competition with other companies and transportation options, and proceed with increasing or decreasing flights as necessary.”
