
Volcanic Eruption on Kamchatka Peninsula Causes Major Delays for Japan-Europe and Japan-America Flights
AIRDO will operate 11 domestic routes with 32 round trips, totaling 64 flights per day, during the summer schedule starting from October 26.
The Tokyo/Haneda to Sapporo/Chitose route will have 12 round trips a day, while the Tokyo/Haneda to Asahikawa and Obihiro routes, and the Sapporo/Chitose to Sendai route, will have 3 round trips each. The Tokyo/Haneda to Hakodate, Memanbetsu, and Kushiro routes, and the Sapporo/Chitose to Kobe route will have 2 round trips each. The Sapporo/Chitose to Fukuoka route and Nagoya/Chubu to Sapporo/Chitose and Hakodate routes will have 1 round trip each.
The late-night flights on the Tokyo/Haneda to Sapporo/Chitose route will continue, and the Tokyo/Haneda to Memanbetsu route will see increased flights for 39 days, coinciding with the drift ice season. The larger aircraft deployment for Flight ADO39 from Tokyo/Haneda to Sapporo/Chitose will also continue.
Ticket sales will begin on August 26.
