Cathay Pacific Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Service to Fukuoka, Japan
Hong Kong International Airport has begun offering free city tours for transit passengers.
It offers two tours: the “Heritage & Local Lifestyle City Walk,” departing at noon and visiting Wong Tai Sin Temple and Sham Shui Po; and the “Victoria & West Kowloon Waterfront Journey,” departing at 5:30 p.m. and visiting the West Kowloon Cultural District and the Avenue of Stars. Each tour takes four hours.
Jointly organized by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) and Trip.com, the tours are available to passengers with a layover of at least seven hours. Reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance, and walk-in registration is also available at the service counter upon arrival.
Participants must meet Hong Kong’s entry requirements, and immigration clearance can be completed via dedicated fast-track lanes. Service counters are located at Transfer Desk E1 in the restricted area of Terminal 1 and at counters A03/04 in Arrival Hall A in the public area.
