Japan’s JTB will open a branch in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
With the increasing presence of global companies in Dubai and anticipated inbound travel demand to Japan from affluent individuals interested in the country, JTB has been conducting on-site research since 2024 to analyze the market and assess business development opportunities.
The Dubai branch is scheduled to open in January 2026, with Naoki Kobayashi appointed as the head. JTB aims to expand its corporate business solutions in the Middle East and stimulate inbound travel to Japan from the region by leveraging the Japanese government’s inbound policies and tourism promotion measures of local municipalities.
