Malaysia Airlines is launching a campaign offering free domestic flights within Malaysia.
When traveling to a third country via Malaysia, passengers can add one domestic sector to any one of seven Malaysian cities—Langkawi, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kota Bharu, Kuantan, Alor Setar, or Kuala Terengganu—at no additional fare; applicable taxes are extra. For round-trip itineraries, both the outbound and inbound sectors are eligible.
At MATTA Fair, one of Malaysia’s largest travel expos, the airline announced it will collaborate with the tourism boards of Malaysia’s states ahead of “Visit Malaysia Year 2026”.
