
De Havilland Canada Offers Starlink Option for DHC-8-Q400 Aircraft
J-Air will end operations of its special-livery aircraft, the “JAL Myaku-Myaku JET” (Embraer 190, registration JA252J), introduced to commemorate Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, on October 13.
On the same day, a “JAL Myaku-Myaku JET Farewell Event” will be held in a hangar at Itami Airport (Osaka International Airport, Japan). Attendees can write messages on the aircraft and take commemorative photos. There will also be activities such as an aviation class led by maintenance engineers and an Expo quiz with cabin crew. The event will run from 5:15 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. Up to 60 people will be invited by lottery. Applications are accepted until 9:00 a.m. on September 29 (Japan time).
The JAL Myaku-Myaku JET features original designs from the Osaka–Kansai Expo, including “Myaku-Myaku,” the official mascot. The inaugural flight operated on November 28, 2023.
