
Hong Kong International Airport to Resume Operations in Phases from Sept 25
Kansai Airports has finalized the lineup of new stores to open in the international airside (restricted) area of Kansai International Airport (KIX) Terminal 1 in Osaka, Japan. They are scheduled to open as early as summer 2026.
To strengthen Terminal 1’s international capacity, enhance the airside area, and improve the passenger experience, phased construction has been underway since 2021. The main functions have already entered service to coincide with Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
In the final stage, Phase 4, a total of 23 outlets—7 food and beverage and 16 retail—will be added in the international departures area. The lineup includes “Burberry,” “Loewe,” “Gentle Monster,” “Swatch,” “OMEGA,” “Tiffany,” “Issey Miyake,” “Moncler,” “Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter,” “Crystal Jade – La Mian Xiao Long Bao,” “Taste of Japan Kansai Travel Diary,” “UNIQLO,” “Shokusai-dori (food court),” “Fresh,” “Kawaii Buzz,” “Sakura Voyage,” “Kobiste – Bifteck no Kawamura,” “Universal Studios Store,” “Beppin-san.,” “Kamameshi and Matcha Tsumugi,” “Fukujuen,” “Matsumoto Kiyoshi,” and “Tully’s Coffee.”
