Mitsui Sumitomo Trust Club and Hotel New Otani (Japan) will begin issuing the ‘New Otani Club Diners Premium Card’ in May 2026.
As a card-exclusive benefit, members receive one complimentary night per year in a Standard Double or Twin at ‘EXECUTIVE HOUSE ZEN.’ Check-in at the dedicated lounge and services by a dedicated concierge are included. At Hotel New Otani Tokyo, Osaka, and Makuhari (Japan), bookings made in advance receive a one-category room upgrade.
The card also includes Diners Club Premium Card features and services, such as 24/7 concierge service; access to the company-operated Premium Lounges in Ginza and Osaka Umeda; and reservation assistance at prestigious golf courses with 50% off green fees. Hotel New Otani benefits, such as bonus points on hotel stays and at restaurants, are also included.
The partnership between Diners Club and Hotel New Otani dates back to 1970, when Diners handled settlement for a New Otani-only ‘house card.’ Since 1995, they have issued the co-branded ‘New Otani Club Diners Card.’
