
Waldorf Astoria Residences Tokyo Nihonbashi to Begin Move-ins in Autumn 2027
Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel (Yokohama, Japan) will offer “Shine Muscat and Kyoho Afternoon Tea” from September 16 to November 30.
The sweets include a green tart, mousse, and roll cake made with Shine Muscat grapes; a jelly topped with a whole Kyoho grape; raisin sandwich cookies made with Kyoho; and a Mont Blanc filled with Kyoho jelly. The parfait layers panna cotta, lemon jelly, and chantilly cream, and is decorated with muscat grapes arranged like flowers. Two kinds of scones—plain and apple-cinnamon—are served. Savories include three items: pumpkin mousse blended with mascarpone, salmon and chestnut quiche, and a canapé combining gorgonzola cream with a marinade of mushrooms such as white maitake.
The venue is Lounge & Bar “Marine Blue” on the 2nd floor. Seating is 120 minutes starting from noon. The price is 7,000 yen per person, or 8,200 yen with one glass of sparkling wine with two kinds of grapes. Both plans include free-flow of 25 types of coffee and tea.
On weekdays after 5:30 p.m., a premium plan guaranteeing a window-side seat—combining the afternoon tea with a chestnut parfait—will be available, limited to 10 sets per day. The seating time is 150 minutes and the price is 10,000 yen. All prices include tax and service charge.
