Delta Air Lines Enables Onboard YouTube and YouTube Premium
The Transportation Planning Division of the Hokkaido Prefectural Government’s General Policy Department will run a “5,000-yen Cashback Campaign” from October 1 through January 31, 2026.
The first 200 applicants who live outside Hokkaido and, during the period, ride at least one of eight JR Hokkaido line sections, use two different airports within Hokkaido for their outbound and return flights, and complete a survey will receive QUO Card Pay worth 5,000 yen.
Eligible JR Hokkaido line sections are: Senmo Main Line (Higashi-Kushiro–Abashiri), Hanasaki Line (Kushiro–Nemuro), Sekihoku Main Line (Shin-Asahikawa–Abashiri), Soya Main Line (Nayoro–Wakkanai), Furano Line (Furano–Asahikawa), Nemuro Main Line (Takikawa–Furano), Muroran Main Line (Numanohata–Iwamizawa), and Hidaka Main Line (Tomakomai–Mukawa) — all eight of which were designated in 2016 as lines “difficult to sustain independently,” with transport density between 200 and under 2,000 passengers (per km per day).
Eligible airports are Sapporo/New Chitose, Okadama, Asahikawa, Wakkanai, Okhotsk Monbetsu, Memanbetsu, Nemuro Nakashibetsu, Kushiro, Obihiro, Hakodate, Rishiri, and Okushiri. The combination of New Chitose and Okadama is not eligible.
To apply, submit via the survey a boarding certificate and an image of your JR ticket after passing the ticket gate. After screening, a QUO Card Pay value code will be emailed by the end of the following month. QUO Card Pay has an expiration date. Applications are limited to once per person and will close when capacity is reached. Free passes are also eligible; you must submit a photo showing your ticket together with an intermediate station within the target section (excluding the originating station) taken at the same time.
This can be combined with the JAL Dynamic Package discount of 3,000 yen for itineraries that use different airports within Hokkaido and include a stay of two nights or more.
