Great Bay Airlines launched the Hong Kong–Datong route on September 16.
Now a scheduled service, it operates two roundtrips per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The route is served by Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight time is 3 hours 25 minutes from Hong Kong and 3 hours 10 minutes from Datong.
Great Bay Airlines began operations in July 2022. It operates routes linking Hong Kong with Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi, Taipei/Taoyuan, Tokyo/Narita (Japan), Osaka/Kansai (Japan), Yonago (Japan), Tokushima (Japan), Sendai (Japan), Sapporo/Chitose (Japan), Manila, Phu Quoc, Zhoushan, Huangshan, Yichang, Guilin, Zhangjiajie, Quanzhou, and Xuzhou.
