
Turkish Airlines launches Istanbul–Port Sudan route; three weekly flights from September 29
Japan Airlines (JAL) will increase service on the Osaka/Kansai, Japan–Los Angeles route for a limited period.
From October 26 through January 31, 2026, the carrier will operate one round-trip per day. From February 1 onward, it will operate five weekly round-trips on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The route will be served by Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
With this change, including the one daily round-trip each on the Tokyo/Haneda–Los Angeles and Tokyo/Narita–Los Angeles routes, JAL will operate up to three round-trips per day to and from Los Angeles.
