H.I.S., a Japan-based travel agency, has jointly established the ONE-JAPAN Tourism Fund Investment Limited Partnership with Japan Asia Investment and ZUU Funders.
Aiming to support the sustainable growth of Japans tourism industry, a key driver of the Japanese economy, the fund will invest in unlisted companies, including tourism-related startups. In addition to channeling risk capital to the tourism sector, it will support portfolio companies growth by leveraging business collaborations with companies participating in the funds operations, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of the tourism industry as a new ecosystem.
The total fund size is 1 billion yen, and the subscription period runs through March 30, 2026.
