Japan Airlines (JAL) will change the flight numbers on three routes to and from Honolulu.
From March 29, 2026, JAL will change the flight numbers on six flights operating the Tokyo/Narita, Nagoya/Chubu, and Osaka/Kansai–Honolulu routes. There will be no changes to departure/arrival times or aircraft type.
On the Tokyo/Narita–Honolulu route, flights JL784/783 will become JL786/785; on the Osaka/Kansai–Honolulu route, JL792/791 will become JL790/799; and on the Nagoya/Chubu–Honolulu route, JL794/793 will become JL798/797.
Customers with reservations on the affected flights will be notified individually by email and other means from October 28 onward. In connection with the adjustments for the flight-number changes, JAL will suspend new bookings and reservation changes for these flights from around 10:00 a.m. on October 26 to around 3:00 p.m. on October 28 (Japan time).
