Tigerair Taiwan suspended its Ibaraki (Japan) – Taipei/Taoyuan (Taiwan) route effective October 26.
The airline had operated two round trips per week, on Thursdays and Sundays. It cites reduced convenience due to the arrival time into Taipei shifting from around 6:00 p.m. to around 11:00 p.m. starting in March; a decline in load factor attributed to rumors of a major disaster in July; and route restructuring due to a pilot shortage.
