Japan’s Solaseed Air has issued a warning regarding the purchase of airline tickets on airfare comparison websites.
The airline says it has confirmed incidents such as ineligible fares (e.g., age-based discounts) being arranged, fraudulent payments being made, customers being charged fees that differ from Solaseed Air’s rules when requesting changes or cancellations through travel agencies, and cases where refunds are not provided.
If it is discovered that an ineligible fare was purchased or a fraudulent payment was made, you will be required to purchase a new ticket at whatever fare is available at the time of your request. Also, any changes or refunds for tickets sold independently by a travel agency must be processed by the travel agency from which the ticket was purchased.
