Japan Airlines (JAL) will enhance security for its corporate domestic business travel booking service in Japan, ‘JAL Online’, starting November 20.
The dedicated ‘JAL Online’ password will be discontinued, and users will be able to log in with their personal JAL Mileage Bank password. One-time password notifications will also be introduced.
In addition to ending the issuance of temporary passwords by administrators when registering employees, password resets will no longer be available. The password policy for administrator IDs will also be changed. A feature that sends an email notification upon login will also be introduced.
To coincide with the security enhancements, the system will be suspended from 9:00 p.m. on November 19 to around 5:50 a.m. on November 20.
