Qatar Airways launched its Doha–Red Sea (Saudi Arabia) route on October 21.
It operates three round trips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The route is served by Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time is 3 hours from Doha and 2 hours 30 minutes from Red Sea.
The Red Sea is a destination that boasts vast natural landscapes such as islands and canyons, where visitors can enjoy wellness, adventure, history, and spectacular scenery. There are five luxury hotels, and the first resort on Shura Island, the central hub, will open this year.
With this addition, Qatar Airways’ destinations in Saudi Arabia have expanded to 12 cities, including Abha, AlUla, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, NEOM, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, and Yanbu.
