Hawaiian Airlines to hold collaboration campaign with Antenna America Tokyo (Nov 1–30)
S.RIDE has introduced a five-tier ranking system to its S.RIDE taxi app in Japan starting November 5.
Ranks are updated monthly and determined by S.RIDE Premium enrollment and the number of rides in the previous month. The five levels are Basic, Silver, Gold, Diamond, and Black. Point multipliers and special features are expanded by rank, and the app interface switches its display to match the user’s rank. For example, Black requires being a Premium member and having 30 or more app-dispatched rides in the previous month.
The number of points awarded is calculated by adding options such as hire-car designation, online payment, and destination preset on top of a base determined by dispatch method and payment. For street-hail rides, points are granted when paying online via S.RIDE WALLET; in-vehicle payments are not double-counted.
To commemorate the launch, S.RIDE is running a campaign that awards up to 5,000 yen worth of points based on the number of immediate or reserved dispatches made via the app. The awards are 500 points for 5 rides, 2,000 points in total for 10 rides, and 5,000 points in total for 30 rides. To participate, register an email address in the app. Points will be granted sequentially after each ride is completed.
