Air China will reduce service on the Tokyo/Narita (Japan) – Chongqing route starting December 1.
It currently operates one round-trip per day, but flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays will be suspended. The reduced schedule will remain in effect through March 28, 2026. The route is operated with Boeing 737 aircraft. Scheduled flight time is 6 hours 5 minutes from Tokyo/Narita and 4 hours 20 minutes from Chongqing.
Booked passengers are being offered a one-time change or refund free of charge. Rebooked flights must be on the same itinerary, or on connecting itineraries combining international flights to/from Tokyo/Haneda or Tokyo/Narita with domestic flights within China.
