ANA Group Holds ‘Fall for ANA! BLACK FRIDAY!’ Event
On November 21, the Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government took administrative action against 博禹観光 under Article 65, Paragraph 1 of Japan’s Travel Agency Act.
The company filed a new travel agency registration application on May 30 and was registered on June 26. However, after registration it was discovered that the résumé of the company’s licensed travel services manager contained false information. Because obtaining registration by fraudulent means falls under Article 19, Paragraph 1, Item (iii) of the Travel Agency Act, the registration was canceled pursuant to the provisions of the same paragraph.
Upon reviewing the new registration application submitted on June 14 by 悠活国際 for the travel service arrangement business, the authorities found that 悠活国際’s travel service arrangement business manager was the same individual serving as the travel services manager for 博禹観光. Concurrent service in these positions is not permitted under the law, and registration was therefore refused based on Article 26, Paragraph 1 of the Travel Agency Act.
博禹観光 was established in July 2015. Headquartered in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, Japan, it has capital of 12.26 million yen. The company engages in the travel agency business, the travel service arrangement business, and the general chartered passenger automobile transportation business.
