
Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
Hilton Tokyo will offer the Strawberry Chinois Afternoon Tea starting December 27.
The set features all-you-can-eat dim sum and 10 Chef’s Specials, plus four kinds of sweets and fresh strawberries served on a birdcage-style afternoon tea stand. Chef’s Specials include abalone with seafood oyster sauce; stir-fried swimming crab in chili sauce; lightly blanched Kuroge Wagyu beef; and a collagen-rich soup with oysters, white wood ear fungus, enoki mushrooms, and goji berries. Dim sum items are served all-you-can-eat, made to order, and include steamed shrimp dumplings with jade matcha wrappers; pork-and-shrimp shumai topped with truffle; rice paper spring rolls with shrimp and vegetables; and assorted five-ingredient fried dumplings. Desserts include hawthorn wine jelly with lychee; shiratama dumplings filled with black sesame paste scented with osmanthus; and a strawberry egg tart. Beverages feature iced lychee jasmine tea and rose-blended black tea (meiguihua hongcha).
Venue: Chinese restaurant Dynasty (王朝) on the 2nd floor. Hours: On weekdays, seating is up to 2 hours between 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.; on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays in Japan, there are two 2-hour seatings between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Price: 7,480 yen on weekdays and 7,980 yen on weekends/holidays, tax and service charge included.
