Thai Airways International will change its checked-baggage policy from a weight concept to a piece concept.
For Thai domestic routes and routes across Asia, the East Indies, Oceania, and Europe, the new rules apply to tickets purchased on or after November 25; for itineraries that include the Americas, they apply to tickets purchased on or after November 28. In both cases, the rules apply to flights departing on or after March 2, 2026.
On international flights, First Class allows 2 or 3 pieces; Business Class, Premium Economy Plus, and Premium Economy allow 2 pieces; Economy Class allows 2 or 1 piece. On Thai domestic flights, the allowance is 1 piece. In all cases, the sum of the three dimensions must not exceed 158 centimeters, and the weight limit is 23 kilograms for Economy and Premium Economy, and 32 kilograms for all other classes.
