AirAsia will launch the Johor Bahru–Kunming route on December 14.
There will be three round trips per week: departures from Johor Bahru operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, and departures from Kunming operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. The route will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft. The scheduled flight time is 4 hours 5 minutes from Johor Bahru and 4 hours 15 minutes from Kunming.
AirAsia will be the only airline operating this route, complementing the twice-daily Kuala Lumpur–Kunming service. With this launch, the AirAsia Group will serve 13 cities in mainland China from Malaysia.
